Magic Snow Ski School in the new ski-school center on the grounds of the children's ski circuit offers daily ski & snowboard lessons for children as well as beginners.

- Our Tip: The Riesneralm is a member of "Schneebärenland". With just 1 ski ticket, you can also explore the neighboring ski areas of the Planneralm, Tauplitz, Loser and Kaiserau.

- Cross-country skiing: 16 km of XC trails including an additional trail groomed for "skating" technique, trail access right outside the house
- Ski touring: extensive backcountry area with magical deep-snow slopes, ascent right from our house to the Austrian Alpine Assoc. refuge hut at the Mörsbachalm and the Grosses Bärneck, night touring to the Hochsitz on the Riesneralm
- Snowshoeing and winter hiking through idyllic winter countryside to the Mörsbachalm
- Sledding: 4 km-long natural sled run from the Mörsbachalm and the Alpine Assoc. hut all the way back to our front door, sled rentals at the Mörsbachwirt, hand-sled rides from the Schauppalm
- Skating rink and ice-stock at the recreation grounds
- Wellness enjoyment at the Grimming-Therme in Bad Mitterndorf (ca. 45-min drive)
It might well happen that you choose to spend a warm & cozy winter evening at Gasthof "Zur Gams", surrounded by a group of singers and musicians who got together quite spontaneously. Who knows, you might also want to learn one of our traditional songs by heart and even join in the sing-along.
