What is fly fishing?
Fly fishing is a special angling technique, which involves luring a fish with an imitation insect tied together out of feathers or hairs, or made of plastic, in combination with a fly rod and special fishing line.
A unique, smooth casting technique makes it possible to serve the "fly" to the fish in a way that's practically impossible for the fish to resist.
Fly fishing is possible here in Donnersbachwald and Ennstal along different fishing waters. From small mountain streams to a major river, you will have an opportunity to snag brook trout, rainbow trout, Arctic char and grayling.
