Fishing in the Gamperlacke near Selzthal

The Gamperlacke, a cut-off of the River Enns, lies alongside the main road between Liezen and Selzthal, and is one of the last virgin riparian forests in Ennstal. It is a habitat for predatory as well as prey fish.

  • Fishing is permitted with 2 rods using natural or artificial bait.
  • Anglers must comply with closed seasons and minimum sizes.
  • Once you are done fishing, the day permit must be placed in the mailbox located next to the driveway to the pond (even if no fish were caught).
